- A high glycemic diet can aggravate acne. Apart from sweets and direct sugars, french fries, baked potatoes, and aerated drinks should be avoided.
- The intake of the above food not only increases the sugar level but also increases the oil production in the skin resulting in clogging of pores and makes it a good environment for the bacteria to grow and cause acne.
- You can replace refined sugars with natural sugars found in fruits and vegetables.
