Turmeric is generally used as a food cloring agent and it is used as a basic ingredient in Indian cooking. Turmeric is found to be very effective in healing many health disorders. The Curcumin which is present in turmeric is said to have many medical benefits.

What causes headaches????
There are many common causes like common cold, tension, spondylosis etc. Here are some more causes for headache.
- Deficiency of calcium and magnesium leads to the habit of grinding teeth while sleeping. This causes headache on either side of the head. So keep a check on your calcium and magnesium levels.
- Caffines which are present in coffee, tea, cocoa and certain medicines also causes headache.
- Excessive consumption of alcohol,tobacco and cola also causes headaches. The withdrawal of the same also causes headache.
- There are certain emissions from your computer and television monitors which can cause headache. So using them from a distance is good.
- Nitrites which are used in preservatives also sometimes causes headaches.

Diet rules for piles
Patients suffering from piles can see a significant improvement , if they follow certain diet rules. These are as follows:
- Follow a whole wheat diet and avoid rice and maida items. You can incle wholewheat bread or rotis, porridge, ragi, cornflakes, wheatflakes for breakfast.
- For lunch you can take a cup of rice with rotis. Never take rice alone. Eat lot of cooked and raw vegetables. Dal, sambar and cooked pulses like channa can be taken at lunch and dinner.
- Never eat rice or rice based items during dinner. Take rotis with lot of vegetables.
- Carrot and cabbage have highest water retention capacity. Apples and oranges also hold a lot of water. So include these fruits and vegetables daily.
- Taking 2 -3 litres of water everyday helps piles patients. Regular outdoor exercises are also very helpful.
