Banana mask for anti aging

Banana Mask:
Crush a ripe banana until it is smooth and apply a thin layer on the skin. Leave for 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water and pat dry, your skin will be soft and smooth.

Honey mask for all skin types

Honey mask:

Apply a thin layer of honey to moist skin and let it stay that way for five minutes. Carefully wash with warm water, then with cold water. Use a towel if the skin is still sticky.

Remedies to reduce hair growth in hands and legs

The main problem that the growing teenagers face is hair growth in their hands and legs. Though this cannot be suddenly stopped, it happens over a period of time, if proper action is taken at young age itself. Here is a wonderful remedy for it.

Make a paste out of turmeric and gram flour by adding little milk. Apply this paste to the body and rub it in circular motion. Over a period of time you will be amazed to see the results, but be prepared to have patience. Mothers can start this for their little girls immediately and they will thank you as they grow.

Home Remedy for High Blood Cholesterol

  • In 1 glass of water, add 2 tspns of coriander seeds and bring it to boil. Cool the decoction for some time and then strain the liquid . Drink this mixture two times in a day.

  • Sunflower seeds are also extremelybeneficial, as they contain linoleic acid that helps in reducing the cholesterol deposits on the walls of arteries.

Home Remedies for Indigestion




Here are some simple home remedies which you can follow for indigestion.


  • After food, eat a small piece of jaggery or a chocolate. This helps in the secretion of digestive juices in the mouth and helps in easy digestion.

  • Soak pepper in sour buttermilk and then dry it. Fry it in a low flame and make into a powder. Mix with little honey and have in the morning and evening.

  • Take a glass of orange juice with pepper and salt.




  • Omum water with honey helps to remove indigestion problem.

  • Make a kashayam with pepper, add honey and drink to get relief from indigestion.

  • Have a banana with little asoeftida sprinkled on it to get rid of indigestion.

  • Have a glass of buttermilk with 2 tsp of curry leaves juice.

  • Eat ½ tsp omum, ¼ tsp salt with hot water. Not only removes indigestion problem but also acts as an appetizer.

  • Drink a glass of rice starch with ¼ tsp of turmeric.

  • Ground cardamom seed mixed with ginger, cloves and coriander is an effective home remedy for indigestion.

  • One good Home Remedy for Indigestion is to put some lemon juice or cider vinegar in a glass of water and drink it before the meal.

  • In 1 glass of water, add 2-3 drops of mint essence and drink after every 4 hours to remove indigestion.

  • Make a mixture of 5-6 chopped basil (tulsi) leaves, 1/4 tsp sea salt, and some black pepper in 3 tbsp of curd, and then eat it. Repeat this 4 times a day for one week for total reconditioning of stomach.

  • Drink a glass of water with a tablespoon of baking soda for immediate relief.

  • Crush 2-3 cloves of garlic (lasan) and boiled with 3/4 cup of water or milk. Boil till half the amount remains and then drink. It takes care of all digestive disorders.

Stomach heaviness


  • Mix ¼ teaspoon each powdered cumin and black pepper in a glass of buttermilk. Drink two or three times a day for 2-3 days.


Appetite:

  • Fry curry leaves and grind with pepper, cumin and dried ginger. Add a pinch of salt and mix it with rice to get a good appetite.

Gas problem:
· Eat raw garlic to get relief from gas problem.
· Eat dry ginger with palm sugar to get relief from gas problem.
· Add cumin seeds to hot water and drink.
